basically, IP Packing is fragile if you enable it on an ethernet or ethernet over IP interface (and get the 'remote' end going as well) you can then disable the respective ethernet/eoip interface and have the thing freeze up works just the same to change the speed of a queue that sits on top of such an interface in other words, networking would go down and the VNC session would freeze and not accept input on my VPS, at least same thing happened locally with two vmware instances so I notified mikrotik about it.. haven't heard from them yet, but they did just have a MikroTik User Meeting in Phoenix so I imagine some of them are jetlagged anyways :) | [16:13] |
