I started with bison and yacc planning to use clang+llvm
My prof suggested due to timing constraints i switch to antlr+jasmin and output to java bytecode instead of building elfs
Before it was minijava+easymode (c style and interopable) externs
Now it's minijava+plus a few syntactic sugar constructs

Apparently the raspberry pi doesn't like keyboards and mice that draw too much...
Combination of the raspberry pi only providing like 4.4V to the USB ports instead of 5V and only 100ma per port instead of up to 500ma on a normal USB port = my nice keyboards really don't get along with it (key presses get missed, keys get stuck)
