had to do a clean before the first sample code would compile, funny how I have to do this whenever I run sample code
I mean detail in terms of setting up the environment. The android is pretty sketchy and you have to screw with it some to get it working right
the android sdk used to be a LOT more difficult to install and setup when it first came out

Linux setup is easier than windows, things are much easier to find and deal with.  Windows doesn't do well with lower level/command line types of programs
