no wonder the other channel was dead. long live the new digs. ;-) and yes, I've had my head in the sand ... Oh hi welcome back. heh looong time still got my 'active customer' card but dang. so stable. nothing to complain about! Yeah really. It all works. so hopefully its not taboo but .. talking about other needs not present here, hubic.com (an ovh branded product) was doing great imho, $5/mo 10TB storage .. but they decided to throw in the towel in a graceful way (no new signups, no timeline to get data elsewhere) .. so atm the next best game in town unless I have over 50TB is mega.io at $35/mo for 16TB .. if anybody has pointers to cloud alike storage I can access via rclone .. 'preciate ;-) even explored min.io (single go binary, runs s3 alike cloud storage, can set storage class via how many duplicates stored across drives on machines in pools, can have multiple pools per tenant...) but to get the price per terabyte I'd need to spend over $50/mo at hetzner for server rental .. to replace a $5/mo service that was arguably hands down cheapest game in town if up_the_irons (hi there! waves!) ever was interested in sharing backup space or cloud alike storage with the service, seems like min.io might be something to glance at. tons of features for a single binary ;-)
