[03:53] *** ameise has joined #arpnetworks [04:02] Alright... here I am. New nick b/c someone already registered the nick I used on freenode... [12:17] Welcome! [12:19] I'm glad the band is back together again. [12:19] Good to see you all. Even you, [FBI] . [13:26] lol [14:09] channel poll: what is your choice of IRC client? [14:09] For me, weechat on Linux, then weechat-android on my phone [14:10] I do that, too: weechat on OpenBSD, weechat-android on Phone. [16:13] Same! [16:13] We (mike-burns and I) also host weechat (on ARP) for some of our friends. [16:14] I'm a co-maintainer of weechat-android. So if it's broken don't blame me it's the other guy. [16:14] Also I am working on a React Native client for iOS. [16:14] I also recommend wee-slack, I have more Slack buffers in weechat than IRC buffers! [16:14] mhoran is a great iOS developer! He says things like "uh can someone with an actual Apple computer build this for me?" [16:15] lol. [16:15] (He's actually very good at making Weechat RN work.) [16:15] Thankfully GitHub is able to lend me a Mac now so that's working mostly. [16:17] But yeah! We maintain a FreeBSD server on ARP with two jails, one for actually running an ircd and a second for a simple shell host with a `irc` shell alias in the default dotfiles that opens weechat and connects to said ircd. It works well! [16:18] Also it turns out lots of other people do this (?!) There's someone in the #weechat-android who does the same. [16:18] Wow!
