brycec: can you check if everything is cool with zeit.arpnetworks.com? We rebooted the host on which it runs and we're seeing some clock skew warnings on a couple other hosts and with that, I sleep... "View Console" (the NoVNC thing) on kvr18 is failing with "Unsupported security types: 19 (And I've shutdown/poweroff/rebooted and it still fails. And OSX's VNC client immediately fails with "Unable to communicate... make sure the remote end is not blocking" etc, though telnet to the port works fine) tl;dr this is not how I like to start my days :P Good news is that serial still works. Anyways, support emailed, but I wanted to mention the issues here too in case others are similarly affected. PS and speaking of spectre/meltdown, do the VPS and Thunder hosts not support the PCID CPU flag? My Metal does, which is nice, but I'm surprised others don't. up_the_irons: At a glance, zeit seems fine. What exactly is the error? brycec: PICD isn't being passed through at the moment.. it mostly can alleviate some performance deficit with the mitigations, but it's only even used on the very most recent Linux kernel. PCID, even. Curiously FreeBSD has been using PCID for much longer.
