mercutio, mhoran, mike-burns, toddf, anyone around? Really just curious about my questions from yesterday (above) about Thunder ARP vs. VPS. mercutio: it's not that much cheaper
it's just better value
your handful of smaller vps's would have more potential cpu utilisation
but a lot of the time people don't use all of their cpu anywaey pjs: thanks man.. Just trying to see what I was missing but seems pretty straight forward.
Think I may consolidate into 2 thunder's instead of the 7 or whatever VPS's I have mercutio: yeah, it's kind of inbetween dedicated and vps pjs: mercutio: gotcha, thanks! mercutio: it's actually my favourite product.
dedicated are popular... but then you have to deal with ipmi, .. and do your own raid etc. pjs: oh really? I should re-read the page
