ok, for the life of me, i can't find the ip space pricing page
it's $1 per usable ip
so $5 for /29
well, I'm getting DDoS'd, looks like a DNS amplification attack.
on arp, or at home awyeah ?
arp
looks like a DNS amplification attack.
yeah
oops already said that lol.
a lot of lookups for cpsc.gov, which is a HUGE zone, so that would explain it
They're all getting denied, but still
03-Jun-2017 17:23:23.214 client 149.202.72.15#4444 (cpsc.gov): query (cache) 'cpsc.gov/ANY/IN' denied
was it much bandwidth?
I can't really tell. It's still happening.
there are often random dns amplification attacks, but they persist more if they were open and then closed
nload on linux is hadny, dunno what OS you're using
awyeah: IIRC ARP throttles UDP traffic too, so that should help at least.
5mbps http://support.arpnetworks.com/kb/main/is-there-a-firewall-filter-rate-limit-or-similar-device-applied-to-my-traffic
Oh that's outbound UDP, so never mind...
i suspect the traffic volume isn't that high
and that it's spread out a lot
