Hi, i am looking for a network monitor that is capable of watching a usb-device, iptraf seems to have problems and only offers watching eth0 and eth1... well, got it, thanks anyway brycec: why, it _does_ appear kvr18 had rebooted. 21 hours ago. So weird, our monitoring did not go off at all. Must have rebooted quickly. I gather your monitoring doesn't alert for uptime regression :p no it does not (Not that I begrudge you vacation or anything) Well I appreciate the confirmation at least :) (I did not appreciate having to reassemble my filesystem from lost+found/) wow it was that bad? what fs are you using? ffs (openbsd) It was about 30 files from /var/log for f. s. ? :) Fast File System http://man.openbsd.org/OpenBSD-current/man8/mount_ffs.8 since you're curious ah OK heh was that with softdep bryce? No s/No/Yes Yes /dev/wd0e on /var type ffs (local, noatime, nodev, nosuid, softdep) heh i suspect openbsd isn't sending flushes up through kvm properly. i kind of wish someone would fix that stuff up in openbsd.. read-ahead seems to be broken too freenode's been having some issues today
