I think my arp vm got automagically upgraded a day or two ago.  I'm suddenly running Django 1.6, which broke shit.  Was there an Ubuntu upgrade?
i  must have accidentally installed django 1.6 as a pre-requisiste when installing something else.  nvm.
even 1.6 is unsupported - what were you running before?! :)
By default (unless you're paying for a manage VPS) ARP never touches your box, especially if you've deleted the mango user, then they couldn't login even if they wanted to. (barring "physical access" style breakins). So the idea that ARP performed any updates on your VPS is just silly.
