openbsd has lots of advantages, but it's not for everything Why doesn't it support write cache flushing or disk read ahead? Is it simply because no one has implemented it yet? I would assume so mike-burns: readahead looked like it was broken/incomplete. write cache stuff looks like it was never implemented
