Now I know why OpenVPN is so cool. After spending multiple hours trying to get a Road Warrier IPSec Setup with the client behind a NAT, I return to OpenVPN bliss. Only need to open / port forward a single UDP port and it works like a charm even from behind an LTE Networks Carrier Grade Nat. I mean why would anyone use anything else? yeh ipsec is terrible for that kind of situation Would you recommend anything other than openvpn for my situation? idk your situation but if openvpn works no rason to shift from it oh forwarding udp port seems sensible enough only major advantage i ever see with IPSec is if your client is an office router, like a small Cisco, or you need broadcast traffic which not all the ovpn clients handle well
