WhoWhatWhen
plettThere are knowledgable BSD people in here. If I wanted to roll my own cut-down FreeBSD disk images with some local modifications for use as a firewall/router, how would I go about doing it? I'm reading release(7) and the releng documentation, but I think I'm missing some prior knowledge. [14:48]
In an ideal world, I want a disk image which I can clone and use on dozens of virtual machines and which has cloud-init or something similar baked into it to provision itself on first boot. I want the image to be as small as possible, so strip src, man, ports tree etc
I've also found http://mfsbsd.vx.sk/ which looks like it might do what I need
