up_the_irons: the seer throughput. iops and such.   when we bought them, they weren't for the VM environment.  and in proxmox 3,  the bottleneck is in openvz,  not in hardware  (ancient kernel that has to be patched for the nvme)

i've found that for queue depth of 1 nvme isn't as much of an improvement as i would have liked to have seen.  i think it's partially the in built flash latency
