I am considering purchasing a Lenovo THINKSTATION S30, need to find out how loud it is
if you care about quiet, newer stuff is generalyl getting better and better, and that system is a little older and has the same (affordable) 64gb limit as new skylake cheap desktops
just picked up the workstation, seems pretty quiet
now what should I install first : Proxmox, Windows 8/10, Ubuntu 15.10, something else?

i brought hard-disks locally, scored some 450gb 15k sas disks cheap
but everything else other than the server i got from overseas :)

dont like waiting for things to ship and so on
i got more nvme ssd overnight

well i mean to here.  i think they're pretty quick if you buy stuff from close distribution places in the US and use the expensive shipping
but i find orders often take over a day to be sent
