mercutio: a vps I have on it is dog meat slow, as if my timeslices were subpar or something.
toddf: smoothly slow, or jerky slow?

I seem to remember reading about some interrupt problem with openbsd and 32bit when using virtio.
so flipping to intel ethernet might 'fix' the problem?
