awyeah: so.
What's everyone using to do backups these days? I'm playing with Attic.
mrsaint: rsnapshot sometimes r1soft mostly and also some simple ssh/tar/scp
mike-burns: I use tarsnap because that's what I've been using.
brycec: lol, you use it because you use it, eh?
I use duplicity with both local and S3 storage. Some things I use have their own backup stuff, and on those I use their own and I copy it up to s3
mhoran: I also use tarsnap.
It's simple, cheap, and I don't have to touch it.
mnathani_: my nick also starts with m, but I am not an op and I use tarsnap
cheap is a relative term though, depends on how much unique and compressible data you have in the first place

mike-burns: Yes.
mrsaint: doesnt seem to be around.
mike-burns: You could email him.
mrsaint: ok what about email?
dont think up_the_irons@ applies there :)

mike-burns: https://arpnetworks.com/contact - anything on here.
Except for the IRC one.
mrsaint: hehe ok
CHAT WITH A SPECIALIST :)
mercutio: probably makes sense to just use sales@
mrsaint: Yeah.. true
Will try that.
I do have plenty of DC and good pricing if needed :) im happy to do good deals :)
mercutio: i imagine it's more than just about good deals.
mrsaint: redundant dedicated spaces with a good deal included :)
mike-burns: I assume it's about people, logistics, and support. But start with an email.
mrsaint: Yeah I have local support everywhere :) but sure. I will start there
