nesta_ is now known as nesta mnathani_: attempting an arch install, vi is not available, but nano is?
during the install process brycec: Well it's not BSD :p
There is no such thing as "base" ;D mnathani_: I was always under the impression that vi would be present on any *nix box I would ever encounter meingtsla: If you have busybox you might be able to invoke "busybox vi". I don't know if that would be available in an arch install environment but worth a shot mnathani_: meingtsla: will try that mercutio: i thought vi was available
zsh sure is
it may be vim or may not be vim, i can't recall :
meingtsla: busybox vi is really terrible.
i would have remembered if it was that bad. meingtsla: This is true mnathani_: since when does zshell autocorrect commands? mercutio: since forever?
it depends on your config brycec: Arch uses grml's zsh config in their installer
http://grml.org/zsh/
And coincidentally, it's what I use personally now too. Arch's zsh got me to switch away from bash after a long, long time.
