[20:56] you probably need to have original hard-disk [20:56] and it's probably an option on windows when you boot [20:56] if it's linux, and you kept the partition, then you can probably just make it bootable [20:56] but that's a guess [20:58] hmm it may have chagned from the older stuuff [20:58] it seems to suggest you just run it from windows now [21:38] original disk and partitions are intact [21:38] the user tried to install Windows 8, but that didnt work out so well [21:39] now I can't seem to get the recovery partition to load [21:39] ended up reinstalling Windows 7 [22:08] ahh ok [22:08] those things are always a pita [22:08] well the bigger pita is they don't include original media often [22:09] how are the templates coming along? [22:09] all except centos 6.x are done [22:09] i think it was 6.7 [22:10] but i kind of want to do arch linux as well [22:10] dunno how much interest there would be [22:10] I always thought it was more of a desktop OS [22:10] i also kind of want to do freebsd 10 zfs root [22:10] nah arch is rolling but nto desktop focused [22:10] rather than use for server purposes on a VPS [22:10] i have arch on my personal dedicated server [22:11] and on my home server/desktop [22:11] i would have arch on more vps's if there were images :) [22:11] the main problem with arch is that it changes a lot [22:12] but centos 7 switched to systemd as well now [22:12] but yeah when things changed to systemd that was a huge change [22:12] and it was done early
