mnathani: you could try german publications? I see three to six tech mags at the grocery and corner stores every day
brycec: for other passwords, we can change them, just submit a ticket
mhoran: kvr02 doesn't have a new enough kvm/qemu to support virtio on freebsd (or, that is, the bios won't boot it)
forgotten: ^^
Also, that kinda sucks
up_the_irons2: Ah, cool. OK!
up_the_irons2: Have you seen increased average load on FreeBSD 10 boxen as I've seen?
Here's a graph: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k35dsxlqspw5ua0/load.png?dl=0

buffers are hard. apparently.
Not like it was a terrible imposition or anything, quiet channel...
:)

<pyvpx> buffers are potatoes. apparently.
You have an unnatural fixation with potatoes, m0unds
s/potatoes/frim-fram sauce/
<brycec> You have an unnatural fixation with frim-fram sauce, m0unds
i don't know what frim-fram sauce is
nobody does
Which makes your obsession with it all the more bizarre
it's just such a catchy tune. i couldn't get it out of my ear in days....
twss
Okay! twss! 'it's just such a catchy tune. i couldn't get it out of my ear in days....'
Mondays... One thing after another, including a failed switch. Never had a managed switch fail on me before :(
And for lack of a replacement managed switch, I've broken out the VLANs into separate ports on the upstream switch and put some dumb switches on those
(thank goodness this run doesn't have multiple VLANs per port)
that does sound like a fun day brycec
brycec: yuck
i've had a lot of 29xx and 35xx class cisco stuff fail over the years, but i have horrible luck
thx
This was my Netgear that has thrown a couple of fits in recent months after power outages, but eventually it would get back in its right mind.
FSM7328 or something like that
ah, bummer
This time however, console messages that the memory was dead, failed CRC etc
sounds like it needs some shovel beating
ouch
I intend to see if I can't massage it back to life, later when I have time
good luck
For now, it was more important to get our public-facing services back online
thx
mhoran: i haven't heard of reports of that, no, but your graph sure does show something awry
Huh.
