https://www.facebook.com/careers/department?req=a0IA000000Cz53VMAR "Our goal over the next few years is for the Linux kernel network stack to rival or exceed that of FreeBSD." haha Yeah. good luck with that haha Personally, I can't much stand copyleft licensing and try my best to avoid gnu/linux it's funny in the early 2000s, i used Debian a lot. then i moved to Gentoo for about 10+ years. switched a lot of stuff back to Debian for the upgrade simplicity. to me, FreeBSD isn't quite as easy to upgrade, especially if a port has issues pkg install $package is pretty straightforward and works for most stuff unless you need different params than were used to build the pkg and freebsd-update is easy as far as updating the system itself isn't the other headache a lot more rebooting?
