i suppose hitting f12 and selecting the osx disk or win disk isn't too bad

we (tr) locked esamir, and the NC were getting stomped so they went over to amerish, trying to lock it
and when the tr finished up on esamir, we had about 7 platoons' worth of tr head over to amerish and push out from our wg
it was fun

That's a gripe to take up with the Gentoo folk for not enabling a serial console on their ISO. up_the_irons/ARP just slurps the ISO down and makes it available.
is the serial over ttyS0/S1?
i think those are disabled by default in gentoo's baselayout (/etc/inittab)
