RandalSchwartzwho are all these guests here? [15:44]
m0undslet's see...
hahah
turned off my filter in weechat, and..that's a lot of quit msgs
[15:44]
RandalSchwartz"I could have guest that..." :) [15:46]
mercutiom0unds: it's alwyas been that way [15:46]
m0undsmercutio: really? [15:46]
mercutioyeah [15:46]
m0undsguess i'm glad i suppress those
hahaha
[15:46]
brycec"guest" is a noun... [15:46]
mercutiofreenode is pretty bad
but i think my connection has been stable in itself
[15:46]
brycecKnow what's nice? znc leaves the join/quit/etc when it replays a buffer [15:47]
mercutiobut there's heaps of servers, and soon as you have lots of people in a channel there's frequent issues [15:47]
m0undsi just press alt+f11 and i can see them, or not [15:47]
RandalSchwartzI'm still on via v6. :) [15:47]
m0undserr
alt =
i'm thinking one thing and typing something completely different
stupid dayquil
[15:47]
mercutiom0unds: i know that feeling :) [15:47]
RandalSchwartzI've had entire weeks like that :) [15:47]
mercutiowhat's dayquil? [15:49]
RandalSchwartzit's nyquil without the knockout stuff
"in theory"
[15:49]
mercutiooh it's some US medication [15:49]
brycec@wiki Dayquil [15:49]
BryceBotDayQuil :: DayQuil is a medicine intended to relieve symptoms of the common cold and flu. Made by Vicks, it is available in syrup and capsule (LiquiCap) form. DayQuil's night time counterpart is NyQuil, which contains sedative antihistamines. Because DayQuil lacks antihistamines, it does not cause drowsiness, and thus is suitable for use in the daytime. DayQuil was introduced in 1974... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DayQuil [15:49]
mercutioit may be the cold/flu doing it ratehr than the medication. [15:49]
RandalSchwartzI must admit, I've been sick a lot less since going keto
two years of evidence now :)
[15:50]
mercutioi've been sickfor like three weeks :( [15:51]
brycecI've been sick a lot less since not interacting with children, or well, people in general. In a given week, I only ever come in contact with about 6 people (not counting restaurant staff etc, which is still minimal)
(a fact I'm proud of)
[15:51]
RandalSchwartzdo you own a restaurant? [15:52]
brycecno [15:52]
RandalSchwartzso why would you be in contact with restaurant staff
or children for that matter? :)
[15:52]
brycecRandalSchwartz: I meant cashiers etc [15:53]
m0undsno, it's most certainly the medication [15:53]
bryceccashier, waitress, etc [15:53]
RandalSchwartzoh - like when you are a patron of a restaurant [15:53]
mercutioi get dsylexic-like when i'm sick sometimes. [15:53]
brycecright that's what I meant, RandalSchwartz [15:53]
m0undsnyquil has antihistamines to reduce itching eyes, but has the side-effect of making you tired [15:53]
mercutioand i don't take much medication normally [15:53]
m0undsdayquil has stuff that some people are sensitive to, and can also cause drowsiness or loopiness
my alternative was coughing my brains out and sniffling constantly
hahaha
[15:53]
mercutioi had some herbal type thing
but not much of it
[15:54]
m0undsthe joy of marrying someone who works in healthcare - i'm regularly exposed to new and exciting diseases [15:54]
brycecexcitign! [15:54]
RandalSchwartzprobably not as much as they are :)
what kind of job?
[15:54]
m0undshaha, funny you should mention that - she and i were on vacation when they had someone w/bubonic plague get admitted from the ER
everyone working that night was put on prophylactic antibiotics
[15:55]
RandalSchwartzantibiotics for rubbers? :) [15:56]
m0undsshe's an RN, just finished her masters. after she finishes her boards and gets her DEA license, she'll be working as an FNP in the ER [15:56]
RandalSchwartzmass orgy o something? :) [15:56]
m0undshahaha [15:56]
RandalSchwartzhad to google FNP :)
TMA
(too many acronyms)
sadly - she's probably learning broken conventional wisdom about nutrition :(
[15:57]
m0undsnah, her program was pretty progressive [16:00]
RandalSchwartzI'd be surprised though. probably still following USDA guidelines [16:04]
m0undsi didn't take the course, so i have no idea [16:04]
RandalSchwartzI've learned *so* much about nutrition in the past two years. [16:05]
m0undsi just know they did have some stuff about supporting patients' dietary choices including veganism, vegetarianism, etc [16:05]
RandalSchwartzforced to, of course, because I was about 3 years from a stroke.
blood pressure 170/110, 45 pounds overweight. now 110/70, and at goal weight for 18 months
[16:05]
m0undscool, congrats [16:05]
RandalSchwartzdid it through keto (low-carb high-fat), and not changing ever now.
the food pyramid (and its successor, the whole "myplate" fiasco) are making western-world people fat and sick.
I'm hoping the 2015 revision of the guidelines incorporates actual science, instead of "everybody knows" crap.
[16:06]
brycecI hate when I start to write "I love when technology works" and it just stops working then. [16:08]
m0undshahaha [16:09]
brycecGood work, RandalSchwartz [16:09]
RandalSchwartz38.5 waist to 31.5. XL shirts to M.
Bottom hole of the smallest men's belt I could find. Any smaller and I'd have to wear a boy's belt. :)
and, at age 52, I'm smaller than I was in high school. :)
happy I discovered this before my first cardiac event, but sad that I spent my entire life chubby or worse needlessly
damn food pyramid

RandalSchwartzweird... been changing names frequently in my scrollback [16:48]
mhoranYeah I see that. [16:49]
RandalSchwartzI don't have timestamps though [16:49]
mhoranI've seen it before though. He's not using the web client so I'm not sure what could be happening.
Maybe nickserv or something?
[16:49]
RandalSchwartzok - if he's vouch-worthy, I withdraw my request [16:49]
brycecheh [16:49]
mhoranI sent him a text to fix his shit. [16:49]
brycecusually a guest->nick-guest pair of changes indicates that his client is trying to switch back to its normal nick, but not identifying to services
or there's a services issue
[16:50]
mhoranYeah. [16:50]
brycecI have seen it a fair bit in the past with eas

mnathaniI am wondering if someone could assist me with a mail routing problem [19:14]
RandalSchwartz"each bang in the path represents the next hop for UUCP..." [19:15]
mnathaniI have a gmail account, where I would like a copy of all email to end up. Office 365 as well as my fastmail
except I need the gmail to show up within office 365 as well
how can I acheive this withoug creating a mail loop
s/withoug/without
[19:15]
BryceBot<mnathani> how can I acheive this without creating a mail loop [19:16]
RandalSchwartzno idea [19:16]
m0undsyeah..no idea here either [19:17]
RandalSchwartzI don't even know what office 365 or fastmail is :) [19:17]
m0undsi just use office365 and nothing else
office365 is microsoft's biz mail/collab stuff, used to be BPOS
[19:17]
mnathaniI am trying to switch to office 365 to get over my google dependency, but so far Google is winning with all its features, and labels etc [19:17]
RandalSchwartzBig Pile of S**t? :) [19:18]
m0undsmore rapid release cycle rather than sitting on exchange version whatever, akin to how google deploys updates to google apps
which features do you have on gapps that you don't have on office 365, aside from labels (which are really just google's way of handling folders without exposing folders)
[19:18]
RandalSchwartzOh... Business Productivity Online Suite... but I bet people called it the other... a lot. [19:19]
m0undsthere should be a ? in there somewhere
nah, it was pretty reliable and functional
[19:20]
mnathaniI like google search better than office 365 search [19:21]

bonratonmnathani: mail rules?
dunno how flexible rules are in google, but MS's mail rules could easily do selective forwarding and sorting
probably a recipe for a disastrous mailbox on every service unless you're extra careful
[19:53]
mnathanim0unds: I also like how labels can be colour coded within Google Apps
My personal Gmail account usage: 17.75 GB (18%) of 96 GB used
[20:04]
staticsafethat is a lot of email [20:05]
m0undsyou can color code messages and assign categories in owa as well
yeah, that's a ridiculous qty of mail
haha
716.81 MB used. At 49.5 GB you won't be able to send mail.
[20:06]
brycec75% of my email usage (also many 10's of Gb) are list emails. First thign I do when cleaning up is nuke those, since they're bound to be indexed online somewhere.
mnathani: So you want mail->gmail to be forwarded to O365, and mail sent to O365 to be forwarded to gmail?
(and fastmail in there too, somewhere)
I'm only really familiar with Gmail... So this only covers half the equation. $somehow setup O365 to forward mail to user+o365@gmail.com. Setup a Gmail filter for all mail !to:user+o364@gmail.com and that filter will forward to o365.
Probably not perfect, since you can still receive mail without you being in the To: header. Hmm
Aha! deliveredto:
