[03:34] <gizmoguy> jpalmer: nice, let me know when your module is up on github
[03:35] <gizmoguy> I use this module at the moment for OMSA - https://github.com/gizmoguy/puppet-dell
[03:36] <gizmoguy> I wouldn't mind rewriting it, it's a little cobbled together in places (forked it from someone else and have been adding features, not refactoring)

[09:34] <jpalmer> gizmoguy: module is up on github and the puppet forge. https://github.com/Voalte/puppet-vendortools https://forge.puppetlabs.com/jpalmer/vendortools
[09:34] <jpalmer> gizmoguy: its still pretty basic. (What we use at work) but I want to work on it pretty aggressively. so, pull requests are welcome.
[09:35] <jpalmer> whoa. upoaded it to the forge last night, it's already at 5 downloads.

[20:19] <mnathani> What do folks here think about FreeNAS?
[20:19] <mnathani> Its essentially software based RAID / ZFS but does anyone in here actually use it for their day to day storage needs?
[23:19] <mercutio> i use zfs with linux
[23:19] <mercutio> from my understanding it's basically a custom freebsd with zfs
[23:19] <mercutio> and the various zfs groups are working together except for the solaris group
