that was ahuge netsplit anyone set up a mining pool before? (bitcoin) exit err, wrong terminal haha That's right, m0unds, don't you dare leaving this channel :p http://www.thatvideosite.com/v/10715/guy-buys-animatronic-band-from-pizza-place-programs-it-to-perform-pop-lock-and-drop-it wow those dead eyes really fit right in yes well said Oh thank goodness, there's more http://www.youtube.com/user/therockafire yeah, hahaha i liked the puppet brycec: the DNS thing has been around for as long as i can remember I presumed it was new since it was the first I'd heard of it up_the_irons what is the purpose? robonerd: so server hostname is actually resolvable so server host name is resolvable? but client determines server hostname during os configi Not DNS'ly speaking... And what up_the_irons means is that so the host, out of the box, has an IP that resolves to a hostname and then back. Which is a typical requirement for IRC networks, SSH servers, mail servers... As a means of verifying you're not impersonating some other host. "Warning: blah.blah does not resolve to something" is a common warning in SSH logs And for that matter, it gives the customer a valid address, resolvable in DNS, to use out of the box :) hmm... but isn't that what i set up in the reverse dns entry in the portal? Perhaps... But the point was having something working straight out of the box ah should be allowed to configure via cust portal imo you can set your reverse dns, and you can setup your own dns... What more is it you want? heh, uh pardon me i guess wait a second, aren't you the one that was giving me shit just yesterday that this wasn't happening, and then up_the_irons confirmed it was, i asked for an apology, and you didn't give me one? and you're here riding me again when i'm trying to offer a suggestion out i think would add value to arp? i don't need it =) :/ I admit I don't like the guy, but I didn't think I was giving him shit... Just trying to clarify what he's asking. I would comment, but... no Anyone know if Yahoo offers a paid service similar to Google Apps where it will host email for your custom domain for you? They used to. No idea if Yahoo Business is still around. (And why on Earth would you want Yahoo's spam filtering anywhere near your email?) mnathani: http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/email/
