I'm still waiting on Garry to set up my session mnathani: Does virtio improve Disk i/o or Network Performance or both? Here at ARP on a VPS

i tihink ubuntu just works
but openbsd needs to be on newer node
i think that's due to qemu/kvm bugs rather than lack of functionality though
i had a beta vm with openbsd with virtio
and it was faster for disk i/o once some bug got fixed
before that it was slower
but i suppose that's what betas are for :)
i only noticed when extracting tarballs though
and only cos i was timing it
