how long it takes for the VPS to be operational, and do I need to configure ipv6 on it or once the server is up I can just ping the v6 address and it will work?
j0bd0n3: It takes 24hr on average for a new VPS to be operational.
IPv6 did not work for me upon boot. It might have changed in the past 5 years.
I'm not support, just a long-time customer.

j0bd0n3: IPv6 will be configured in some fashion; the default os install in theory should have it functional; you're allocated the IPv6 address space so whether its working by default or requires tweaks on your end, .. it's definately easy ..
