brycec: Google have re-introduced the offline maps thing as an option on the search dropdown (which is an improvement, but I still don't find it intuitive). However, the supported offline areas are smaller in the new one, and there is no way to manage the list of what areas you have cached offline brycec: check out osmand, you don't need google ;) but I like Google... :p guuguhl googol any of you guys have experience with APC Symmetra UPS systems? No but I was always entertained by this woman's strength http://www.upsforless.com/productimages/apc-2/SYPMapp1.jpg wow, that's a real woman right there she looks so happy about it i guess i would be happy too "yay I'm replacing a failed component" Which should be read "yay, something failed!" what if it's PM? jeez, negative nelly private message? oh preventative maint yes private messatges messages woot i can do 12gigabit/sec at home Is that all? :P heh how much can you do? it's 12.7 gigabit in the other direction Just copper GbE here, which is adequate heh :) i just wanted to play with infiniband mostly How are you doing 12? That seems like an odd number Ohhh IB it's actually really good latency too yeah it's 20 gigabit cards but they're 8x pci-e dual port and i found one of my motherboards was trying to run it at 1x which didn't work so well i got four old cheap ones off ebay Sweet. I came across a sale a year ago on dual port cards, just under $100/ea this was chaeper than that i think it was about $150 USD for 4 cards than about $36 for 2 cables from a different seller yeah at just under $100 i'd question it more but when i get 4 cards for a good price i was like why not :) and i didn't want to delay in case anyone else got them first there's heaps of cheap pci-x ones around aatm
