anyone from arpnetwork online? phyburn: you realize support@arpnetworks.com is to be used in general, right? ;-) really didn't want to send an email with one line but I guess I will phyburn: welcome aboard :) when I think of setting up an east coast location, i'm starting to pick locations based on whether I'd want to visit that place for a few days... ;) what are the options... NY, Ashburn (VA), Florida (where in FL?), ... lol amirite? ;) tampa - best strip clubs on the east coast :) LOL i think i'm sold how about miami? ;) dunno if there are data centers there... ... http://monsvenus.com miami strip clubs aren't as good been there done that NSFW - http://monsvenus.com/entertainers ... Showing 1 to 24 of 203 records http://www.datacentermap.com/usa/florida/ guys, my next data center will be in Tampa... ;) I'll join you on the site visits :) there are things I've done at Mons Venus in Tampa that I've not been able to reproduce anywhere else in the US Do you guys mind if i ask something about DNS related issue hee? *here it's across teh street from (something) 2000, which is also supposed to be pretty good DNS!? How the hell does that work? :) One of my domain hosted with dyn.com RandalSchwartz: you have a deal; we'll visit prospective DCs together in Tampa :) Whois the domain shows primary/secondary nameserver correctly, i can ping both of DNS servers as well. From the control panel inside the dyn.com, it shows incorrect delegation info. Another domain of mine also registered with dyn.com with same DNS servers (same for 1st domain), no issue. I cannot ping domain A , while i can ping domain B. Domain A and Domain B using same primary/secondary DNS servers. Weird. jbergstroem: so how is the SSD caching working out on your server? ugh My bind master isn't updating the slaves and I have no idea why -_- does it have the address of the slaves? Yeah, it's never had a problem until now oh wait can't NOTIFY without that I bet I know why Heh, forgot to update the SOA there ya go up_the_irons: skipping dmcache for now, waiting for bcache in 3.10. i can probably do some minor benchmarks with fio, but aim on measuring my app guess I could share that information as well, would most likely be less information though (db calls N% faster etc) up_the_irons: most importantly, using dmcache currently requires the cache device to always be present. might be fixed in 3.10 though jbergstroem: roger that is this underlined for anyone? not me hmm Can someone send underlined text? ..does IRC even support underlining text? I don't think so. I think underlined text depends on irc's software Test or probably channel modes +c i think no color allowed. Test blip! this is _underlined_ for me
