no, when i got the alerts of packet loss, i suspected high traffic to a certain host (kvr02)
ah
over the years, you get a feeling for what a problem is (certain alerts coming from certain services)
btw, out of curiosity. how is ipv6 connectivity handled
it seems to be a bit slower than v4 for some things (f.e. large backups)
not sure if that's just me or something
v6 goes over a software router (OpenBSD).  v4 goes over a Cisco, so hardware
