Did the freebsd-update to 9.1... but it didn't upgrade my custom kernel. I think it upgraded the rest of the system, however. Now it doesn't look like it's booting. mercutio: try kvm maybe? awyeah: Yeah I'm in the console

If I could get to the filesystem out-of-band, I could just untar the kernel.txz file mjp: pretty sure it did anyway as i remember doing a uname -a at some point and seeing GENERIC there

How do you make the VM boot from the CD?
oh, I see, you can do it from the VNC console.
