warexI have just made some changes to my openbsd os, after rebooting I try to connect using VNC to kvr08.arpnetworks.com:6024 but it says: Connection refused

not it says: "Unknowk host"

any ideas? [13:41]
bryceckvr08 resolves fine for me
warex: if you can't connect to vnc, it means your VM is not running
Login to the portal, pull up the page on that vps, and press boot
[13:43]
warexwell I have restarted it [13:44]
brycecIf you can connect to the vps but not the VNC console, then support@ (or up_the_irons showing up) is your only hope [13:45]

jlgaddisup_the_irons: Am I correct in remembering that you run PowerDNS as your authoritative DNS server? Happy with it? Any major issues?
19:41 < staticsafe> seeing some interesting latency - http://sprunge.us/fGFR <-- that's not latency, that's ICMP deprioritization
(If it were actual latency/network issues, you'd see similar (super-high) response times on all of the hops after #10 as well.)

nlayer like to drop icmp packets
[20:36]
staticsafeOVH is the worst offender when it comes to dropping ICMP packets [20:39]
mercutioyeh
nlayer are pretty bad though

jlgaddismercutio: yep, can't know for sure without seeing what it looks like going the other way [22:59]
mercutioyeh can be irritating to try and get reverse traceroutes [22:59]
