up_the_ironsjbergstroem: is virtio the default in 9.1 if you use kvm, or is that still something you need to do manually? [17:04]
jbergstroemup_the_irons: its up to your host/qemu. newer qemu's gives you a lot of choice
all virt* drivers are preferable
[17:05]
***dferris has quit IRC (*.net *.split) [17:06]
jbergstroemgives both host and vm's better performance [17:06]
mercutiorhel6.3 kvm sucks [17:06]
up_the_ironsjbergstroem: yes, but what i mean is, will freebsd pick the right driver right out of the installer, or do you have to do something special? [17:06]
jbergstroemup_the_irons: haven't come that far yet since my installer bails pretty early :) [17:07]
up_the_ironsok:) [17:07]
jbergstroemup_the_irons: google tells me that fbsd9.1 supposedly have more than one issue with kvm as host. probably not too hard to solve tho [17:07]
