i use screen
tried tmux but there was not enough incentive to switch permanently.  seemed exactly like screen with different hot keys.  i don't use splits, so that doesn't matter to me.
Same here. I've been meaning to look at tmux, but screen doesn't annoy me enough to make me keen to switch
