My max is around 200... after that, it's just noise. In fact, even at 200 it's noise and I start closing them out, "I can re-Google this if I need it."

my wife burns through tabs like they are butter. I finally realized for her to enjoy watching videos on her netbook I must do 'pkill -STOP firefox thunderbird chrome' then 'pkill -CONT ..' when the media player exits

at one point I had the vmware client running on her system to run an older version of windows to run quicken, but after seeing me use gnucash for my business, she decided for 'something faster and less confusing'

she thought gnucash was less confusing? I didn't mind quicken, but I wound up going with mind your own business I think

toddf: power managment kinda sucks. I'd say that's a bigger complaint than flash. (unless you're doing something silly like nspluginwrapper)
i switched from quicken and quickbooks on a mac to gnucash on linux.  data entry is SO much quicker in gnucash.
