I think my VPS just locked up.
Nothing on the serial console.
Weird.
VNC shows up, echoes my login, then freezes before prompting for the password.
Well I guess I'll just try a hard shutdown.
Two hours ago:   "Wow, the HDD on this XP machine's getting full.   Perhaps I should finally get around to upgrading to an SSD, and moving games/etc to a second HDD."     Me, just now:  "So... I ghosted the old 250gb drive onto a 500gb drive and didn't grow the partition and didn't notice for 2 years???"
Hah.
I mean, what the HELL.   How did I never grow the partition to fill the drive?

between that, and my battles with iptables it's been a day.
tempted to just open a ticket:  Please restore VPS #X to FreeBSD default image, because OMG IPTABLES THEY BURN GET THEM OFF ME.
