Ended up mailing support, and got this reply "We are having issues with our IPv6 router and are working to resolve it." man finally IPv6 back Any2 IX took a crap gonna put better monitoring on that next week, took too long to resolve this one Thanks up_the_irons CaZe: no problem up_the_irons: can we use multiple coupon codes from WHT? :O if so - can i add a few to my recent order :D if not - i still <3 arp out of curiosity, what WM is everyone using? notion that's a window manager it's basically like ion3, which has been around for ages, and isn't nearly as disturbing to use as unity/gnome/xfce Aye I use a DE..KDE, to be exact. I've got the CPU/RAM for it, I guess. it's not really about cpu/ram i have i5-2500k and 16gb ram it's more about continuously getting interrupted in flow by the ui gah why is hub.freebsd.org not reachable on arp through ipv6 or ipv4 mtr loosk fine although it's going via any2ix ahh sweet it's not just arp I don't seem to get interrupted I'll admit i3 is nice, though..if I was going to swap, that'd be where I went i find i moved windows around too much i like just having places i stick things I had some problems with borderless urxvt gaining focus I maximize everything otherwise i'm continuously moving windows around so i can see stuff ahh i often want to see multipel thigns at once which is one of my issues with using tmux terminal is maximized (no need for separate terminals, I run tmux locally, and connect to another tmux remotely) like i want multiple tmux windwos showing diff tabs haha but still using one master list of tabs well, then that's where we differ i used to fullscreen everything i used to use text mode and svgatextmode (to get higher res text mode) and i remapped my keyboard keys to have more virtual desktops I think I will use i3 on football Saturdays, though..sometimes I watch one game on TV and one on the computer..I think a tiling WM would be nice for that had about 40 actually i think it was 3*9+2*12 nice maybe it was just 1x12 I get bored with a certain WM/DE all the time but like i onyl had 24 mb of ram years back so did i i started with uhh what did i start with I swap between OpenBox/KDE/Xfce all the time well in early days i flipped between twm and enlightenment so I figured since I get so bored with everything, I might as well try a tiling wm for kicks but i tried out fluxbox etc Aye well i've been using ion3 since 2001 although i used gnome for a few weeks at one point My first WM/DE was KDE3 or an early version of GNOME i hate it how with gnome you have to map the keys to have direct keys to go to virtual desktops and it's confusing to find i did play with kde3 too GNOME3 is the worst DE on the planet KDE4 is nice, though i couldn't make the colours less harsh easily hmm i should try out kde4 sometime It has a lot of eye candy does it install on ubuntu? i don't need eye candy i need a bigger screen i think :) I think so, I'll give it a shot on the wife's computer tomorrow I'm on Gentoo here i used gentoo for a bit too i tried heaps of distributions and somehow ended up on ubuntu haha I like to show the eye candy to my friends with Macs and some Windows users who think Linux is all terminal ahh ok i use dvorak keyboard layout no-one can type on my computer anyway Haha very true I couldn't actually i had a friend who learnt some dvorak the first challenge is being able to type your password in dvorak like with some passwords things it's timed lol and it doesn't echo i learnt on text mode and it was timed but i mostly just learnt on vim and irc I've gotta get...wife's yelling at me and I've got to be up in a few hours to head in to work thing with irc... is so many people half pay attention to it... that even if you type real slow you can keep up See you later ok later so is ipv6 fixed yet? yes you didnt check first? im not actually a customer anoymore =( however, i plan on coming back in the next month mostly just curious :o
