i think one of the things with things like tmux for cpu usage is that lots of context switches happen with irc etc
so it's a little cpu often

I use screen. I was going to switch to tmux but my coworkers ran into copy/paste problems and I couldn't figure out how to do ^A^A in tmux.
what's ^A^A do?
i mostly have problems with windows cut/paste
how you have to remember to do ^C
^A^A toggles between screens.
And yeah, I find ^C and whatever paste is very hard to remember. I'd rather just select and middle click.
(For some reason I find "*yy easy to remember, though...)
