[19:44] <raouldlv> does anyone have a good freebsd generic-type kernel config for use in an arp vm?
[19:45] <raouldlv> any kernel optimizations for using freebsd in domU?
[19:46] <raouldlv> i know there is the xen config for i386
[19:46] <raouldlv> but the last time i dove into this was a couple years ago
[23:17] <up_the_irons> raouldlv: we don't use xen so don't config it that way, just use regular i386 or amd64 configs. as for optimizations, i don't have any, perhaps someone else here does?
[23:36] <Webhostbudd> raouldlv: just build the virtio kernel modules and then have virtio turned on
[23:36] <Webhostbudd> that's about all you can do
[23:52] <up_the_irons> Webhostbudd: raouldlv : I haven't had anyone (that i know of) successfully use the virtio drivers in freebsd
