[16:38] or buy some depends [16:51] haha [16:52] I prefer the "Depends," method. Have you ever walked around with your own filth caked between your legs? It's an amazing feeling. [16:53] TIL. [16:54] redditor? [16:55] No [16:55] (Not sure if that makes it worse) [16:55] Oh [16:56] Has anyone looked into the MIT project "MOSH"? [16:56] I don't suppose I could borrow somebody's help getting the network up and running on a reinstall of OpenBSD 5.1? It hands on boot at "starting network" and setting it up after an install, instead of during, gave me a "device timeout" error. The network looks properly configured. It's an arpnetworks vps [16:57] http://mosh.mit.edu/ [16:58] I don't know *BSD, sorry. [16:58] yeah I just don't know how secure it is [16:59] mosh-server (mosh 1.1.3) [16:59] Copyright 2012 Keith Winstein [16:59] License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later . [17:21] phlux: Generally the design seem really sensible, and it has gotten quite a bit of attention the last few months, without being proven completly broken. [17:23] phlux: Also, once you get a bit of latency, you really really apprecaite mosh :) [17:24] andol: Yeah, I take my laptop on base with me, and tether from my phone, but my phone gets a terrible connection, so SSHing to one of my VPSes to connect to my tmux session is a PITA..I think mosh can alleviate those symptoms. [17:24] I have a great connection at home, so I'd probably stick with ssh for that [17:31] *** CaZe has quit IRC (Remote host closed the connection) [17:31] *** CaZe` has joined #arpnetworks [17:31] *** CaZe` is now known as CaZe [17:31] Myself I am mostly looking forward to using it against some company servers in China.
