Has anyone looked into the MIT project "MOSH"? iih3ro: I don't suppose I could borrow somebody's help getting the network up and running on a reinstall of OpenBSD 5.1? It hands on boot at "starting network" and setting it up after an install, instead of during, gave me a "device timeout" error. The network looks properly configured. It's an arpnetworks vps

arenlor: thank you anyway ***: fink has quit IRC (Quit: fink) andol: phlux: Been using mosh personally for a while, currently debatin with myself and my colleagues on when we feel like trusting it at work too.
phlux: Generally the design seem really sensible, and it has gotten quite a bit of attention the last few months, without being proven completly broken.
phlux: Also, once you get a bit of latency, you really really apprecaite mosh :) phlux: andol: Yeah, I take my laptop on base with me, and tether from my phone, but my phone gets a terrible connection, so SSHing to one of my VPSes to connect to my tmux session is a PITA..I think mosh can alleviate those symptoms.
