anyone have any thoughts on this guy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215397 doesn't look like it runs os x :P lenovo, or bust. jpalmer: I'm also a big lenovo fan, but i've got some good deals elsewhere (like the MSI Wind 1350, what a great little netbook it is!!) up_the_irons: I've had laptops from almost all vendors across all lines. the lenovo x series is nice, and suprisingly.. the toshiba satellite is pretty nice for a lower priced option. not a fan of the acer laptops. they tend to not be as durable, and I've had random things just stop working during typical use. jpalmer: roger up_the_irons: but, it's the age old 'personal opinions' issue. if you ask someone else, lenovo is garbage, and they swear by Acer ;) jpalmer: haha yeah jpalmer: the lenovo x series looked nice indeed I've had the x1, and the x220, and the x220e. I've got a work supplied MBP now, but I've been looking at possibly getting another x220 for personal use. x220s look nice. jdoe: yeah, they are pretty decent machines. and, they can run KVM, which for me is a huge plus eh... I just want something small, light, long battery life, and relatively well supported by linux. you just described the x22, or the x1 :P s/22/220/ ping voalte.csmc.edu and, wrong window. everyone /clear, quickly. right. I'm just saying I don't care about kvm ;) I do toooooo many vm's to not have kvm accessible when I'm offline maybe up_the_irons: i got ur msg from doomviking. :D cant stay away from George's can ya? xD
