up_the_irons: I wouldn't consider this urgent, or even "anything above low priority"  especially since you let people install their own.  not sur how much bandwidth it'd save you.   it's more helpful if you can prepackage the OS,  where it's pointing directly at the mirror.
(so maybe your default installs, before people re-provision)
I'd say, before you do anything..  try to determine how many people have your default installs,  vs. how many custom install :)

they just upgraded mirrorlist.centos.org to v6.  they are working on authoratative NS's now too.
not sure if they'd be up for you offering to slave their zones,  since you run v6 enabled NS's.. but you could always offer ;)

as far as publicity is concern, we're a data center services company (VPS, colo, dedicated, transit, dare I say "cloud" soon), so even CentOS fits the bill
if you are interested in slaving zones for them   talk to avij in #centos-devel though.  he's their resident ipv6 guru..  and involved in a lot of the infra stuff for ipv6

i'm going to try ubuntu 12.04 w/ openstack on some new dedicated servers.  see how it all works.  VPS is good for a "permanent home", but for those two want to spin up 5 instances of <something> for 5 hours, and then kill 'em, they need cloud...

I'm consistently being asked to recommend cloud services, so it will be nice to suggest Arp now. Well, soon.
let me know how it goes.  I don't think the NS's are one of their priorities atm,  because thy don't expect many "ipv6 only hosts,  who also use ipv6 only NS's" at this point.  but I know it's on their hitlist.
