I can get to it via localhost, but even when I (briefly) turned off my firewall, I still could not access port 25. Port 80 and 22 worked fine with and without the firewall. Any ideas? Is arpnetworks filtering 25? [19:43] *** HighJinx has joined #arpnetworks [19:49] I guess they would only be filtering inbound smtp since I can send mail from the server to anywhere with no problem [20:01] Works fine for me. [20:01] However, your ISP may be blocking port 25 outgoing. [20:01] It's typically recommended to use submission (587) to send mail to your server. [20:01] And use 25 for server to server communication. [20:05] your ISP is almost certainly blocking 25 outbound. [20:05] since it's not 1995 anymore. [20:07] Mine doesn't, but mine is also trapped in 1995 (http://bway.net). [20:08] *** HighJinx has quit IRC (Quit: Computer has gone to sleep.)
