I've noticed my new FBSD VPS is not using VirtIO, which is okay, but I'm wondering if I can submit a ticket to get it swapped, once I upgrade to FBSD 9.0?

up_the_irons: for the record, the virtio drivers are in ports.  /usr/ports/emulation/virtio-kmod
you just need the sources installed, but you don't have to rebuild the whole kernel

so far the performance extracting the installation files was pretty terrible
