battle tested by our sysadmins kraigu: haha, patching with a beer in hand. a grad student here used to get wasted, then do sysadminly stuff. only he didn't take notes, so he'd never remember how he fixed any given problem, assuming he fixed one vs making plenty.
once he decided to see if he could make two users with uid 0. he called the new user test, and gave it the password test, on a public-facing machine with ssh open.
lasted about 20 minutes. -: jdoe coughs.

or is there anyway I can reinstall the OS on my VPS myself? toddf: eggsby: you can do so with vnc console and hitting the magic key (I forget, f12 maybe) right after a hard reboot (or soft reboot if you still have access) and boot off the iso image attached to your vm.
