nah, we're just simplifying our infrastructure
we do have a couple ec2 nodes that are doing some api work
mainly because we have workers that we need to spin up on the fly for an hour at midnight
if you ever make an api to provision a vps quickly, we'll move those to arp too :P
I'm going to have automatic provisioning built this year (or I will die trying ;)

however, per hour billing, like EC2 has, is not included in that
i may have to build a whole new platform for that (like using OpenStack or something) and i'm not really sure i *have* to go there, since my target audience are those who need 24/7 VMs
