jlgaddis: which websites are u blacking out? src="//js.sopablackout.org/sopablackout.js" <--- I never knew you could leave off the protocol field, LOL but it works! evilrouters.net and freeccnalabs.com are the two most popular ones up_the_irons: leaving off the protocol field has the happy advantage of filling in the correct one depending on how the page was served so you don't have to serve a different page between http and https jlgaddis: ah, i had visited evilrouters.net, but it is still up :) and avoids insecure content warnings etc Lefty: yeah, i figured that after i saw it, just never seen it done before. I only discovered that little hack a couple of months ago... unfortunately, just before I quit my dev job to go back to SA :) haha crap, my cacti server is 30 minutes behind in time ?! up_the_irons: yeah, crontab'd to go dark 0800-2000 local too lazy to change it now ah HighJinx: the 5 lbs of gummy bears arrived! bahahahaa they ship every month too? HighJinx: yeah, if u want ahh up_the_irons: Yeah, isn't that awesome (leaving off http)? I just discovered that a few months ago too. presumably that's so that either http or https works, depending on what the "parent" is using? Yup w00t, finally completed my dualstackiness with reverse delegation and all. w00t. post it up on twitter yo. @arin will RT! sure, done fuck arin bastards won't create a maintained object in their routing registry actually, i think i'll just call them mhoran: totally jlgaddis: arin's routing registery? Is that like RADB or ALTDB ? yeah altdb is pretty much unmaintained, radb is $500/year, arin is free. altdb still works wonders for me (and free) apparently now they won't create a maintainer object until you donate to some scholarship they created i reject that on principle and will pay radb first yeah grrr, arin helpdesk closed "for an internal staff meeting" hah hmm, namecheap says domains can't be transferred if they expire in less than 7 days... anybody tried it? i just did (didn't realize it until afterwards). curious if it will go through anyway or if i should go ahead and renew w/ current registrar (i hope not). someone have high latency under peer GBLX? anyone here?
