and has features for per-row columns
essentially giving you NoSQL flexibility
and it's 99.99% compatible with mysql

Well screen is hard to configure.
ok will check out wiki. RandalSchwartz: tmux has far more config options, but most of the defaults are sane.
my .tmux.rc is still only about 10 lines
the first three things I install on every new freebsd box: portmaster, tmux, and zsh
and then I launch my tmux session for *everything else* ifthen: thanks for tips mike-burns: I couldn't figure out ctrl-a ctrl-a in tmux.

all the internal commands can be run with "tmux command..." in a shell
