sorressean: So I supposedly have the bsd 4.9 disk mounted, but when I boot, then connect to console I get nothing. I had to set it to use the serial port when I booted on the actual box before I messed up the install, do I have to do something special with the cd so I can install over ssh?

boba: No

<br> It will then return you to the prompt. Then do netstat -anf inet to check that it's listening on 5955
